What are some good online poker books to purchase?

I have been playing online poker for a while now with the micro level. I am ready to move up but before I do I want to read some books based only on online booker. I have just purchased two of them one is killer poker room and the other Doyle’s online poker book. Are these even worth reading and any others you make recommend. Any input on online poker books worth reading are great.

Those books are garbage, and not even worth your time.

Your best bet is to go to 2p2 and buy books from there.Though once you start moving up and still only play by the book you will be exploitable by anyone who halfway pays attention.

A book series that I personally found very helpful is the one from Dan Harrington, he has a set on tournament play and one for cash games.

Harrington on Hold ‘Em, Volume 1: Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments: Strategic Play
Harrington on Hold ‘em: Expert Strategy for No-Limit Tournaments; Volume II: The Endgame
Harrington on Hold ‘Em: Expert Strategy for No-Limit Tournaments, Volume 3: The Workbook
Harrington on Cash Games: Volume I: How to Win at No-Limit Hold ‘em Money Games
Harrington on Cash Games: Volume II: How to Win at No-Limit Hold ‘em Money Games

You could try some tournaments as well. Some players are just better at tournaments and some are better at cash games. You will have to find out which you prefer.

One more possibility to learn more about the game: take online poker courses. You learn the basics and they even give you a bonus when you’ve finished the course- often after giving a quiz or something. This is a great way to get your free starting capitol to try out and practise what you’ve learned in the courses.
