Gambling has been quite dominative as an industry for quite a while now. Many people are taking it as a form of business rather than a form of entertainment.
There have been about four hundred and forty five casinos in the United States and the number has still been growing. No wonder you find many people taking to gambling as a business as it gives more opportunity to make money. Many business minded people take to it as it is the trend now.
Like any other sort of business, gambling also needs careful management and also needs to make use of methods which are strategic to increase the potential of earning money.
Skill or Luck?
Most people think that if you are operating a business you will need a lot of luck and also be skillful in business.
The same thing applies to gambling as a business also. Gambling relies on luck, but the people in this business should make sure they are not relying on it totally. Determination and skill are what is important and not luck in this sort of a business.
In business also you may not always make profits. There are chances of losing money. but however, you need to make sure you are managing it well and also taking the right measures to be successful.
Things to be considered
A gambling business also involves a huge amount of money. if there is no money you can not continue to run a gambling business.
Running a gambling business is in no way a scheme to get rich as fast as possible. Therefore, you need to make sure that things are going rightfully with the law.
Good planning is a key to success in this business. With no good planning you can not be sure to succeed. Planning also gets the business on the right track. It also helps the owner in making decisions the right way.
Dogged determination is what is required. Surveys have been showing that about 65% of the businesses are not being able to succeed mainly due to a few trials.
Good accounting skills are also needed if you want to go on with a gambling game. This is because gambling does involve huge amounts of money and hence you need to make sure you have good accounting systems.
The conclusion is that running a gambling business is not as simple as any other sort of business. It needs good combination of a lot of things. Most importantly luck is not the main criteria.

I’m very thankful to you for your matured and detailed reply and fully agree with all your views…regarding my questions……Reproductive rights of Indian wife…that’s okay if u dint reply to my previous query……
in relation to ur response, i wish to clarify that i had discussed all these details with my husband b4 marriage and we agreed to everything…after marriage we had also decided that we wont have children till our relationship harmonizes…actually my mother inlaw(she lives separartely in india)is too interfering and dominating….she bullied him and abused him physically and mentally in childhood.dats y he is so suicidal & also afraid of her ..and cant take decisions himself..so despite wotever we decide her interference spoils everything
she has not seen much of outside world.she remains in her home in her own shell for months together and is pessimistic person.i also find her bit abnormal due to her habits(collecting things indefinately but not using them,not combing her hair for days together,wearing only old soiled clothers,screaming hysterically over silly issues etc)..she also lies that her BP is abnormally high wenever her son disobeys her(i know she lies as she never goes to any doctor to get it checked and uses this ailment as a weapon to control him)… so instead of going to counsellors my husband always seeks her advice in everyth . even if it’s outdated
but i still love my husband and dont wana lose him.plz dont ask him to leave me.so i rejoined him even after 3 yrs of desertion
now wat is a gal supposed to do if the husband agrees to everything b4 marrying and changes immediately as soon as his mother interferes
even if i had divorced him and remarried,there’s no guarantee that the second husband will not be afraid of his mother,and will take all decisions mutually with his wife.even if he shows that he is a very independent minded person….after all this is how indian men are….wat do u say? dats y it’s said marriage is a gamble and a matter of luck……….
dont u feel indian laws are a bit outdated?instead of saying that a woman must have children,they shud actually give her the right to decide wen to have children?because if the parenting is bad,the children suffer and always the mother gets a bad name;not the father or grandparents

I am sorry to hear that but I came from Pakistan and our culture is the almost the same. My ex fiancee trusted his sister and his mother over me and I ended the relationship. I am married to a guy who is from States and who loves me so much. I am happy in my own world. Yeah I have some problems with him but so what every relationship has problems. Please don’t have kids with him. Try to go to marriage counseling. I know it is not very good option but it does help.
