    More money has been …
More money has been stolen, embezzled and forced people into poverty by religion than by any other form…..God wants Money and always wants alittle more, all knowing all seeing but just cant handle money.(George Carlin).

    There should be a …
There should be a way for people to pay bills in casinos as much as a way to cash checks, atms, taking away from yourself. Security doesn’t always enforce the self ban either.

    That woman over …
That woman over eats. Isn’t that a sin?

Why doesn’t she work on her self first before she tells others whats wrong. If you’re not going to follow your own advice don’t offer it at all.

    I handle money …
I handle money responsibly, but occasionally bet (and generally lose) $10 or $20 at casinos as diverse as Horseshoe Indiana to Casino Pilipino in Manila to Wynn, Las Vegas. Some people eat too much and ruin their health, impacting my health insurance rates. All humans are imperfect, and some will make poor use of living in a free society. This is not a good argument against human freedom. There are costs to freedom and people making poor decisions is one of them.

    know that you are …
know that you are not the only ones. Luckily enough for us, we still have the life to overlook our past and realize that this is not the answer. I am trying to learn from my mistakes, because I know that even though I felt like 10k is alot. It is not worth tragedy. These lessons that come early in life will save us millions in the long run if we learn from our mistakes. I hope this benefits everyone with a similar situation, and become more in touch with the simply more finer things in life :)

Luckily I myself have been blessed enough to have the parents support me even though I have yet to admit to them my problem and loss. I am typing this to let everyone out there..

I shared these two cars with my twin brother. however my senoir year prom night I wrecked my audi a4 and my bro kept the vette. I received a little proportion of the money when my bro sold the vette. So right after highschool I had saved up about 6500 dollars. I was at a community college and working… to be cont

My problem is poker. Im addicted to online poker. Started playing six months ago and blew all my savings and went into debt. What keeps me going is to get that big win. Im actually a good player but i always eem to blow my bankroll in one or two hands. I find it hard to go through the day without playing a few tournies and a few cash games. I always think, if pokerstars can do it, why not me?? Going for that dream ruined my life.

    i’m just 18 years …
i’m just 18 years old and i lost $4000 today at the casino. i’m watching every documentary about gambling addiction that i see. i want to be educated to realize how gambling ruined my life and changed the supposed to be happy moments that I could have if didn’t gamble. THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS. that’s why casinons have billions of revenues every year. they wouldn’t build it if they will just lose. you win today, but you lose tomorrow. i hope today will be my last visit. I HOPE EVERYONE QUITS.

im a compulsive gambler for 10 years. All I can say is that no matter how much money we could win we would lose all because our enemy is ourself coz we keep on coming back to win more or to recover losses.we might win 6 days a week but lose in a day very badly.

    People don’t …
People don’t realize how much gambling effects lives. More casinos keep popping up all over the country but there is no anti gambling campaigns like there is against smoking. It can be dangerous and you have to be careful because it eventually catches up to you. I just lost in Atlantic City yesterday and it hurts. Now I have to go to work for free to recoup that money. I am quitting.
