People make mistakes. We’re all human. We all tend to do what our friends and co’workers do. I think both these guys, Pete and Berry have learned a lesson along with most of their fellow players. Gambling had nothing to do with Pete’s accomplishments and I think Berry would have hit his home runs whether or not he was using steroids. It was a bad fad.Pete was’nt the only one betting . What about the guys he was betting. It was a fad. I think the commission has a handle on it now and the message has been sent. If the truth was known, I’ll bet some of those commissioners was betting. OOPS there I go doing something wrong. Pete deserves his accomplishments and I’d be very happy to see him put in the Hall of Fame. He volunteered. Bonds is still playing and not banished.
