I want know what I would have to do in order to set up an online casino. Could I just pay some programmer to build a cool looking gambling website site and then just worry about marketing the site then afterwords just kick back and watch the dollars roll in? How money would it take?

I have also been researching this topic and the general point of view is that you need a lot of cash for this. Starting from scratch will probably mean paying a programmer assuming you want a hassle free technical running of your site. Marketing is at about $50,000 as there is so much competition to beat. It is not impossible it just takes a little more work than I expected. They say it takes about 10 months to start seeing you returns…still better than ‘normal’ business as that takes about 2 years to break even.
The sites I have been going through suggest a capital amount of about $250,000. At this point I think buying a ‘ready made’ casino with a catchy name would be more worthwhile. Then you won’t have to worry about the software, hosting and tedious technical stuff.
This is not something to go lightly into research everything, especially the law.
